A local Haiti morning show with a weather man who may, or may not, be high.
Thanks, Arthur!
Awesomeness.

For the first 36 years of my life, I've been a "dupel-schneitzer", or in english, a double sneezer. Apart from any extenuating circumstances, if I sneezed, it would always, always, be twice. It seems that in the last few months, I have crossed into new territory. You are now reading the blog of a "treepel-schneitzer". Yep, I now seem to have developed a third sneeze, and I've got to tell you, it's a bit annoying. After so many years of relaxing after that second sneeze, returning back to whatever I was doing before I was so rudely interrupted, I now have to brace myself, and turn my head a third time. I think I actually pulled a muscle in my back this morning on my way to work since the third one kind of snuck up on me. I'm just not used to it yet.
...and on the subject of sneezing, is it just me, or can any of you make yourself sneeze by looking into a bright light? Every time I walk out into the sun after being indoors for a while, I can look up into the sun (briefly) and crank out a couple good sneezes...three actually.
(Sure, this may not have been a fascinating, or even interesting entry to my blog, but I thought I'd try to be a lot more regular with my entries.)
All for now.
As children's television shows are a steady diet in o ur house these days (thank God for Treehouse) , I am exposed to a lot of different shows and therefore, a lot of opening and closing theme songs. Some are crap, and usually the ones that get stuck in your head all damn day...but some are fun to sing along with. One of my particular favourites to sing along with is the opening for Franklin The Turtle. After many, many singalongs with it, tonight a little light finally turned on in my head. Why does that voice singing the song sound sooooo familiar...it sounds like....no...it couldn't be...could it?....it is!!! It's Bruce Friggin' Cockburn (but only on the Canadian version apparently...I Googled it). It's no wonder I've always liked the theme song! I suppose you all knew this, though...either way, give it a listen. It's a real beaute, Clarke.
A pretty good acapella group from Indiana University do a beauty Christmas medley with a great finish.
So I saw this video clip at work where I have no speakers, so the sound/music behind the film could be great, terrible or non-existant, but I do know one thing: I was completely mez-o-merized by this "silent" video of some dude fingerboarding. This guy's got all the tricks down that Tony Hawk pulls off, but he uses his fingers on a miniature skateboard. The video production level is pretty amazing as well. A must-watch 6 minute clip. He's back, and here's the first pic taken (by Steven Spielberg himself, no less). Harry's lookin' good...
I have to say, I am VERY excited that in less than a year, May 2008, we will be able to go to the theatre and see another Indiana Jones movie, but I'm also a little nervous. I really hope it doesn't suck.
There is a show from Comedy Central that airs on Canada's Comedy Network called, "Robot Chicken". I love it. If you're not familiar, check it out...it is stop-motion animation of toys and action figures that is GUARANTEED to take you back to your childhood and make you laugh. It's Co-Creator is Seth Green, the guy who plays Dr. Evil's son, "Scott" in the Austin Powers movies. He and George Lucas actually got together for this project.

Well...
On June 17th, Comedy Central will be showing "Star Wars: Robot Chicken" and I can't wait to see it. Unfortunately, Canadians will probably have to wait a little longer than that for an airing, but that is what the marvelous interweb is for, right?
I'm officially excited to see this. You can see the teaser here.

This dude, Billy, is the king of all Beer Pong players. Beer Pong, if you don't know, is a game where you make your opponent take a drink, by bouncing or throwing a ping pong ball into their beer-filled cup. Ball goes in - opponent drinks all the beer in that cup. Simple. This is a Youtube video of a man you never, ever, ever want to play against. Was making this video a HUGE waste of time? Only in the most AWESOMEST way!
The music! The hat! The awesomeness!! I hadn't seen it so many thanks. read more
